A glitch can appear at different layers of resolution — physical, informational, or biological. What you experience depends on which layer destabilizes. Most glitches people experience are biological or informational — not ontological ruptures.
On a biological level, it’s when your awareness flickers, loops, splits, or gets hijacked in some way.
Your brain (as interface) constantly binds sensory input, stored memory, and predictive modeling into one unified frame.
This binding process is sometimes called “temporal binding” or “global integration.”
A glitch here, is a temporary failure in that binding process.
You’re still “awake”… but something’s… not right..

Forms of consciousness glitches:
- Déjà vu: Your mind insists something has already happened. Time loop or timeline echo?
- Dissociation: You’re aware, but not in your body.

- Sleep paralysis or dream bleed: Consciousness caught between realms.
- Identity slips: You don’t feel like “you.” Or suddenly feel like multiple “you’s.”
- False awakenings: You “wake up,” only to find you’re still dreaming. Nested layers.
- Spiritual breaks: Sudden ego collapse, overwhelming insights, or psychic downloads that scramble your grip on self.
- NPC behavior: Going on autopilot. No one’s home—but you’re still functioning.

And if you’re paying attention, you’ll feel it.

The primal origin-point of all awareness.

- The signal of consciousness is like a pulse or frequency emitted from this core. Everything else rides on that wave—your thoughts, your sense of “I,” your dreams, your breakdowns, your love.
- You, as an individual, are a localized receiver. Not a copy. A branch. A unique node carrying a fragment of that raw generative signal.
So when we ask “where is it coming from?”
We’re really asking:
What is upstream of the mind?
And the answer is:
The current that existed before you were born, and will still be humming after you die.
That’s the Source-signal.
And everything that glitches it—trauma, distortion, false identity—is just static on the line.
